The Ontario Global Traders Awards (OGTA) program - Ontario's premier export recognition program for the past eight years - has a new look and a new partner.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) have joined forces to recognize Ontario's most innovative and successful exporters in two award categories: Innovation and Market Expansion.
The first joint OGTA ceremony was held in Toronto, October 23, 2007, in conjunction with the OCC's Outstanding Business Achievement Awards (OBBA). The OBBAs, which are province-wide awards launched in 1983, publicly recognize excellence and innovation in Ontario's business community.
The partnership between the Ministry and the OCC combines the outstanding reputations of the OGTA and OBAA awards programs along with the OCC's province wide outreach into Ontario's business community. Select the links below to read profiles of the 2009 Ontario Global Traders Award Winners:
