TORONTO January 29, 2008MIDDLE EAST TRADE MISSION DELIVERS RESULTS Leading Dubai Company Expanding Into Ontario, Launching PartnershipS.S. Lootah, a leading business conglomerate based in Dubai, has announced the opening of an office in Ontario. Earlier in the day, the company signed an MOU with Ontario based KMH Cardiology and Diagnostic Centres. Minister of Small Business and Entrepreneurship Harinder Takhar attended both announcements, which are a result of a recent trade mission to the Middle East led by Minister Takhar.
"It's great to see that the connections made during our Trade Mission to the Middle East are already paying off," said Takhar. "In today's global economy it is crucial that our business community explore opportunities all over the globe and that we promote Ontario as a destination for success."
Minister Takhar met with S.S. Lootah group during the Trade Mission and Neena and Vijay Kanwar of KMH were among some 20 delegates that travelled to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Cairo and Egypt to explore opportunities in the booming economic region. The mission was organized by Women Engaged in Bridge Building (WEBB) Canada and took place in November 2007.
The MOU signed between KMH labs and S.S. Lootah International is for the establishment and operation of healthcare facilities in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. "We are delighted to have reached mutual understanding with SS Lootah International to partner in healthcare facilities in Dubai and throughout the United Arab Emirates," says Vijay Kanwar, President and CFO of KMH. "Going on the Middle East Trade Mission with Minister Takhar was very worthwhile and our company is now going global."

The new office is their first in Ontario.
