Ontario and Mexico share an important relationship as part of the North American Free Trade (NAFTA) region. Mexico is Ontario's third-largest trading partner, with growth in both exports and imports in recent years.

The International Marketing Centre in Mexico City is located in the Canadian Embassy. Its mandate is to promote awareness of Ontario and the province's many business opportunities.

Staff activities include, but are not limited to:

• Promoting awareness of and access to Ontario-produced goods and services
• Working with Mexican companies to find investment opportunities in Ontario
• Building relationships with the media and local governments
